First Aid/CPR Courses

The U.C. Fire Department offers regular training sessions in First Aid and CPR.

The Division will pay for any Physical and Biological Sciences faculty, grad student or staff member who is interested in attending one of these training sessions.

When enrolling, please provide your full name, title, department, advisor (if grad student), and your UCSC email address and telephone extension.

The following CPR/First Aid classes are currently scheduled (See map links below)

October 16 (Thu) from 9 am - 4 pm .......... Location TBA (Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED - No First Aid)

October 17 (Fri) from 9 am - 12:30 .......... Location TBA (First Aid training only)

November 4 (Tue) from 9 am - 4 pm .......... Location TBA (Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED - No First Aid)

December 10 (Wed) from 9 am - 4 pm .......... Location TBA (Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED - No First Aid)

*Note

If you are unable to attend any of the scheduled classes, you can call the Red Cross at 462-2881 to find out when they offer classes.
However, if you attend one of off campus classes, you will be responsible for paying your own fees.

Alternatively, if you can come up with a group of 10 or more people, the fire dept. can schedule a special class for that group. Please contact Leslie Dumller, firedpt@ucsc.edu for details.

Non-faculty/grad/staff are also welcome to attend the classes. The $40 fee can be paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of the class.
